I use authentic old reclaimed solid barn wood to hand sculpt this line of floating shelving. All shelving projects are built out of mid to late 1800's true cut boards. The unique one of a kind characters of these shelves may also include some of the following; knots that may or may not come loose (i do hide glue and nails inside but shipping is rough on boxes!), small to medium gouges, holes from things other than just nails (wires or pipes etc), markings from plaster and lathe and other semi random things too.
